PLEASE READ: What this holster IS: A very comfortable way to carry a gun all day on your person. Give it 3 days for the leather to soften and you will forget that you are carrying a gun. What this holster is NOT: This is not Urban Carry but better. Like Urban Carry, it is not the quickest way to get to your gun nor will never be the quickest way so do not go there if this is your main concern in buying a holster. The holster sits below the belt over your anterior thigh in a slick leather pouch exactly like the Urban Carry. You pull straight up and out with our new design instead of pulling up on a flap forcing the butt of the gun sideways against the belt like Urban Carry or our Possum Pouch One. The problem was when you pull up on one side of the holster while the other side was attached to the belt it forced the butt of the gun laterally against the belt that it needed to slide up and above. If you were a middle-aged man or woman with any belly it never worked out nearly as well as it did in the Urban Carry videos. Our new Possum Pouch 2 design is much easier to get the gun up and out of your pants and still as comfortable when it comes to all day carry. This holster will also not work with skinny jeans or tight pants. With looser pants it gives the appearance of having a full front pocket. If having the look of a full front pocket is a big concern then this is not the holster for you. The tradeoff to the full pocket is that your gun will now ride below the waistband in a pocket of slick leather and will be very comfortable for all day carry. We have taken the major wear and friction points out of this holster. In most kydex holsters, makers mold straight to the shape of the gun, this includes the slide release, safety etc. By recessing this area we are able to create a smoother draw and re-holster. This also reduces the amount of holster wear on your gun. Our holsters are made from Boltaron thermoplastic, a similar plastic to Kydex. Boltaron is abrasion resistant, chemical resistant, and extremely durable. Boltaron out performs Kydex, the material most thermoplastic holsters are made from, in impact resistance, hardness, and keeps its shape better than Kydex in high heat situations. The cant of the holster is adjustable from 0 to 15 degrees, simply use the Hex Allen Key that is provided with your holster to loosen the screw on the belt loop and adjust.
