The Polycom compatible VXi V175 Wireless headset #VXi-203994-EHS-P is designed specifically for Polycom IP phones**: SoundPoint Phones: IP 335, IP 430, IP 450, IP 550, IP 560, IP 650, IP 670, VVX 101, VVX 201, VVX300, VVX310, VVX400, VVX410, VVX500, VVX600, VVX1500 within office environments.Polycom SoundPoint IP300, IP301, IP500, IP501, IP600 and IP601 do not support EHS capability.
The included EHS Interface Cable allows you to easily roam and by notified around the office without missing any calls. When you get a call, a ringtone in the headset will notify you of an incoming call. All you need to do is push a button, on the headset, to answer. With 3 wearing styles included (headband, ear hook, behind head neckband) accommodate the preferences of any of your workers.
Note for Polycom 450/550 Phones: The correct Hook Switch mode needs to be enabled to allow this headset to operate properly.
To enable headset on your phone do the following:
Navigate to the Analog Headset menu (Menu > Settings > Basic > Preferences > Headset > Hook switch Mode. Select the "Jabra DHSG" to enable the VEHS-P1 functionality with the phone. Also disable the "Headset Memory" setting. SIP software version 3.0 or higher and BootROM 4.1.0 or higher required.
