The hook knife and spoon carving gouge are used to scoop out the convex surface from spoons or bowls. The hook knife blade is 11/16" wide, a full 1/8" thick, 2-1/2" long with a 1" radius. Overall lenght of hook knife is 9". These blade characteristics facilitate smooth and chatter-free cuts. The straight dual-bevel carving knife has a 1-5/8" long blade and an overall length of 7-1/8".
