Theres a usb charging port cable wire inside the belly of the dog, so no battery needed, which is awesome. The on and off button its his nose, and you can bascially control it by the two button on the center of its head. The two ears, 4 paws moves, tail moves, head turns, and eyes lights up. You can also feed the bone to the dog, and the dog talks and reaction to the bone. The doggie talk, barks, walks, musical melodies and sings a few songs. It is a great interaction toy to keep my son busy. Overall I like this toy.
