RABBIT'S FOOT FERN - Davallia fejeensis or Rabbit's foot fern is natively found growing in the tree branches in the areas of Fiji. A beautiful hanging plant that develops beautiful fuzzy rhizomes all over the years of growing.
GROWING RABBIT'S FOOT FERN - Grow your rabbit's foot fern in a hanging basket and placed it in the area where it can have indirect sunlight. Do not over water and allow your plant to dry between waterings. The fuzzy rhizomes need moisture so mist them every few days to avoid drying out.
TAKING CARE OF RABBIT FERN - Even you sustain your rabbit fern with enough care losing some of the older fuzzy rhizomes is normal and not a gesture that our plant is dying. As long as you provide them with there needed growing conditions, all is well in your plant. Repot your rabbit's foot fern in every two years during springtime.
PRUNING RABBIT'S FOOT FERN - Dip your clippers in denatured alcohol and use them to prune out any dead or disease fronds and remove them from the base. Trim those dried and damaged frond tips and finally, check the rhizomes, if the rhizomes dry it's because they are already dead simply remove them and your plant is all god.
