A turntable mounted to the underside of the game cabinet allows players to turn the board so that it's oriented towards them for their turn, ending the nuisance of reading sideways or upside down. The top of the cabinet features a deluxe Scrabble gameboard with raised grid to keep the Scrabble letter tiles in place when turning the cabinet. Lift the top off of the wood cabinet and you will find individual storage compartments for all of the premium game components. The Scrabble tiles and tile racks are solid wood finished to match the cabinet. The letter tiles can be stored in the included fabric pouch. The set also includes a premium scorebook with a pencil to record the results of your epic word battles. The set is completed by a sand timer with matte black end caps for optional timing.
