It is made in the USA with Milspec materials: 600 Denier Tough Duck Material which includes a water repellent backing; Double Stitched Seams; A Top Flap that is secured via a Velcro Closure; and Two Integral Genuine Parachute Cord Ties (MIL-C-5040 Type III 550 Parachute Cord) for easy securing to just about anything.
Although it is designed to hold the Best Glide ASE Military Glass Signal Mirror, it can also be used to hold just about any small item, such as water purification tablets, NATO Matches, medicines or bandages, emergency sewing supplies, a small fire starter and tinder or numerous other survival items.
It will fit just about any 2" x 3" Signal Mirror. However, caution should be used when storing a plastic or soft metal signal mirror as a non glass signal mirror can be scratched during storage in any container. This is not an issue when using our Military Glass Signal Mirror. It is also not an issue if your plastic or soft metal signal mirror is wrapped in a soft cloth prior to insertion into the signal mirror holder.
