Designed and Printed by Twelve Hounds 3D Printing 3D printed custom vented oil fill cover for the Harbor Freight Predator 3500 watt inverter generator Some early model generators were so well sealed that the engine could not get enough air. This would cause a surging condition so the fix was to remove the oil fill cover. This new cover, printed in PETG plastic, will allow you to have a cover to keep large debris out of the engine area while still giving the engine enough air flow. This is a modification, it changes the sound/noise of the generator but not substantially.
