TruAir answers the call for cost effective respiratory protection, in a traditionally designed respirator. TruAir respirators come with a large, molded shell that makes breathing easier. Plus, comfort features such as a soft, foam nosepiece; non-latex, elastic head straps; and an adjustable nose clip ensure that TruAir provides a snug fit that workers will wear all day.
The Gateway Safety 80902V TruAir Ultra Vented Respirator is a P100 class particulate respirator with a valve. The TruAir ultra vented respirator provides N99.97 respiratory protection with 99.97% filtration against aerosols below permissible exposure limit (PEL). The respirator's filtering material component is made with polypropylene spunbond scrim, polypropylene Technostat electrostatic filter media, MeltBlown polypropylene, and 100% polyester carded web. The large molded shell helps reduce breathing resistance and minimizes end-user fatigue. A standard exhalation vent helps reduce hot air buildup; the valve cover and valve seat are made of polypropylene; the membrane is silicon. To help keep the mask securely in place, it has an adjustable aluminum nose clip, as well as a full-face polyurethane foam seal that conforms to the wearer's face. Dual non-latex head straps made of woven PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and polypropylene elastic adjusters provide a traditional yet safe and secure fit for heads of all sizes.
