Ideal for 4-stroke outboards and inboard boat engines, this re-settable hour meter from Hardline Products will help you stay on top of preventative maintenance schedules. All functions count down showing you balance of time before scheduled service. Each function is re-settable by holding down the button when the service function that is due is flashing, or you can reset each service function at your own interval. Flash alerts include "change engine and gear" every 100 hours; "change spark plugs" every 100 hours; and "valve service" every 500 hours. This also meter includes a "individual running timer" mode to track running sessions. It works with all 2/4 stroke engines and fuel injection models, and it also operates with new generation 4 stroke "pen stick" coils or earlier generation ignitions. No power is required -- the meter has a 10-year battery sealed inside. The unit measures 2-1/8 x 1-1/2 x 5/8 inches.
